Billing
Plan tiers, report credits, seat counts, and how billing works in FRA Flow pre-pilot.
FRA Flow is priced around two things: workspace base fees (which buy you the team-level features like reviewer workflow, templates, and branding profiles) and report credits (which buy you delivered FRAs).
This page is the short reference. Pricing details, including annual discounts and overage rates, live on the pricing page.
Plan tiers
| Tier | Best for | What's included |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Evaluation only | 2 reports/month, watermarked PDF |
| Solo | Independent assessor | 5 reports/month, full report features |
| Practice | Small consultancies (2 to 10 assessors) | Pooled report credits, reviewer workflow, branding |
| Consultancy | Multi-landlord teams (10 to 25 assessors) | Pooled credits, per-landlord branding, priority support |
| Enterprise | 25+ assessors | Unlimited fair-use, SSO, custom integration |
Reviewer + admin seats are free on every paid tier. The seat count on a Practice or Consultancy tier counts the assessor seats, not the reviewers. This is deliberate; the reviewer bottleneck is the wedge FRA Flow is built around, and we do not want to charge teams twice for the same person doing both roles.
Report credits
A report counts as used when it gets generated and the assessment moves into the reviewer-queue. Drafts you regenerate before submitting do not count as separate credits; the generation itself is cheap, the credit is on delivery.
On Practice and Consultancy tiers, credits are pooled at the team level. The pool resets on the first of each month. An assessor on a 5-person Practice team has access to 40 pooled credits; one assessor running 20 reports in a month is fine.
Overage is charged per report at the published rate. The overage shows on your monthly invoice; there is no surprise limit. You can set a tenant-level cap in Settings → Billing if you want a hard ceiling.
Annual discounts
Annual billing is roughly 17 to 20% cheaper than monthly. We default the pricing page to monthly because pre-pilot SaaS needs adoption; the toggle to annual is one click. Existing monthly subscriptions can switch to annual at any renewal date without losing prorated credits.
Pre-pilot reality check
A few honest notes for pre-pilot users:
- Free tier is forever-free. Two reports a month, with a small "Made with FRA Flow" footer on the PDF. This is not a trial in disguise.
- 14-day trial mechanic for paid tiers is on the roadmap. Today the path from Free into a paid tier is "upgrade and cancel within 30 days for a full refund". Once the in-app trial flips on, the page CTAs change to "Start 14-day trial".
- Pooled credits at team level is the framing; the actual invoice line per month is workspace-base + (assessor-seats × seat-fee), with overage if applicable.
- Refunds. Pre-pilot we run a no-questions 30-day refund on the workspace base fee. After pilot launch this becomes the standard SaaS pro-rata.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing. The workspace stays read-only for the remainder of the billing period (so existing reports remain downloadable), then the workspace is archived with a 90-day grace where you can reactivate without losing data. After 90 days the workspace data is permanently deleted in line with the data retention agreement.
